In Idle Survivor you move and shoot automatically. Buy upgrades to stay alive against increasingly powerful waves of enemies.

Your choice of upgrades is random, and each time you buy a specific upgrade, it gets more expensive.

Plan your purchases carefully.

Upgrading Range makes the character not dodge anymore. It also makes your character waste more attacks, as even if 2 will be enough, it will shoot all 10 toward the same enemy.

DO NOT UPGRADE RANGE, maybe once or twice.

Okay, everyone, every time you "upgrade", the hitpoints of enemy units increase by one, not to mention, the game will get busier and busier. This is how the dev has chosen to make the game challenging to the point of making you fail no matter what you do. Heal one hitpoint? Enemies get another hitpoint and there are more enemies. Increase damage by one hitpoint? You'll never kill enemies in one shot because their HP increases by one each time. You need a combination of attack speed and damage. And since your unit's movement is out of your hands, it seems increasing the speed only gets you killed faster, especially since you were just disadvantaged in enemy HP and number of units for that smash-into-them-faster "upgrade". Your having more hitpoints is pointless because you'll also have to heal, and each upgrade for you is an upgrade in HP and number of units for the enemy.

In my opinion, this was a lazily designed game. If you "upgrade" attack range enough, you'll be stuck in the centre. This game probably shouldn't even be on Itch, it's so bad.

It also looks like EVERY TIME I upgraded damage (by 1) you also increased the enemies hitpoints by 1. So it's like there's no advantage. Did you learn how to make games by learning how to keep players at a constant disadvantage IN SYNC WITH EXPENSIVE UPGRADES???

"Upgrading movement speed" shouldn't make me go through enemies and kill me faster! Did you actually play this game for a while before posting? Because upgrades, at worst, should be a bad use of resources, not turn my unit into a suicidal road rager. Faster, not worse. And I should be rewarded if I make good choices, not cursed for choosing one of TWO (2) choices you give me so I can hopefully get two better choices!

I wish this game made a little more sense so a strategy would get me past the 3-minute mark. Seems things are out of control and upgrading range can cripple movement. Upgrades cost too much too fast. The game seems a bit hard and maybe even too random if my ability to survive seems to depend on chance more than my making good choices. If that's the case, what am I playing for? My progress is out of my hands.

The upgrade to range 14 kills the player. It stops trying to dodge. Other than that, fun idea for an idle game. Maybe kills can set you back a level or two instead of back to zero.

Yeah. None of the upgrades should be a downgrade. No way should attack range cripple your movement. Basically, the only thing that should cause trouble is wasting money on healing when you don't need it or even upgrading health capacity when you need to upgrade damage or attack speed or something.

I keep on moving into the enemy because my movement speed is too fast.

Upgrades increase in cost too fast. Also overkill is a massive issue (it should only shoot enough to defeat) Multishot would be a good upgrade too (as would no-bought healing)
